DESCRIPTION:The Lehman College and Community Chorus will present its annual free Spring Concert on Sunday, May 4, 2025, at 2:30 p.m. in the Lehman Concert Hall. The program will feature Franz Schubert’s dramatic Mass in A-flat Major, directed by Lehman Professor Diana Mittler-Battipaglia and accompanied by the Lehman Symphony Orchestra. The 80-member chorus will also perform shorter works by Randall Thompson and Aaron Copland, as well as a medley from the Broadway musical South Pacific. In addition, the program will include Vivaldi's Guitar Concerto in D Major. Members of the chorus, orchestra, and soloists include Lehman students, alumni, faculty, staff, and a broad selection of residents from the Bronx and surrounding communities in New York.
