Professor Manuel Munoz
Professor Manuel Munoz, LCSW-R is a licensed, bi-lingual (Spanish), Clinical Social Worker with over 30 years of post-master’s experience working with children, adolescents and adults utilizing individual, couple and family therapy modalities in a range of settings. A graduate of the Hunter College School of Social Work he has been a faculty member in the Social Work Department of Lehman College since 2010, teaching courses in social work practice, field seminar and assessment and diagnosis. He has been a faculty member of the Ackerman Institute for the Family, a post-graduate family and couple training institute and has taught and supervised in the family therapy training programs of the Roberto Clemente Family Guidance Center and the Institute of Family and Community Care sponsored by the NYC Health and Hospitals Corporation. He has co-authored two articles and has presented on various topics related to providing mental health services to poor, multiply stressed families and maintains a private practice.
