New Faculty Orientation
Welcome and congratulations on becoming a part of the Lehman community. At Lehman College, we seek to attract and recruit the best people to educate, engage, and empower our students. We are excited to once again host in-person New Faculty Orientation (NFO) an annual program facilitated by The Office of Academic Personnel in partnership with Human Resources Administration (HRA), Enrollment Management (EM), Information Technology Resources (ITR), Professional Staff Congress (PSC) and campus-wide resource providers to welcome and inform the newest tenure-track, tenured, and term faculty members of our academic teaching community.
Lehman’s orientation is a full-day offering designed to afford new faculty an opportunity to become connected to the college, receive essential information about rights, and benefits, gain insight into the student body, meet faculty colleagues, and learn about the many resources available to faculty and students.
This year’s orientation will be held in person Friday, August 18, 2023, where faculty will kickstart their careers at Lehman. Please be sure to register your attendance by August 11, 2023. For questions related to onboarding or orientation contact alison.abreu@lehman.cuny.edu
