Karla Brito

A native of the Dominican Republic, Karla felt accepted and welcome at Lehman College. Inspired by Lehman's beautiful campus and fueled by her desire to give back and work within her community, Karla is pursuing a degree in Sociology and now works as a Teacher's Assistant for second grade.

Louis Carrasco

Louis left his job managing an auto parts store after realizing better opportunities were waiting and college was the first step. At Lehman, he obtained an internship with the Multimedia Center. Ron Smith

Born and raised in the Bronx, Ron found his way to Lehman College after years of 'soul searching.' Under the guidance of Lehman's Music Department, Ron took his passion for playing music to new heights and is now a Lehman graduate and accomplished percussionist, recently performing at the famed B.B.
