is a designer and glass artist. He was born in Eureka, California in 1930. Shepherd studied at the California School of Fine Arts in San Francisco and at the Catan-Rose Institute of Art in Jamaica, New York where he received a certificate of fine art in 1957. He has completed commissions for the Vatican Pavilion for the New York World's Fair, NY 1965; and a bronze relief exterior entrance at the Fromkes Law Building, St. John's University, Jamaica, New York, 1975.
