The organization of physiological processes in microorganisms, including structure, energy-yielding mechanisms, macromolecular biosynthesis, growth, and regulation. The genetics of microorganisms, including the organization, maintenance, and expression of genetic information, cell growth, and differentiation and genetic engineering. PREREQ: Experimental Microbiology (BIO 331).
