Lehman Teaching & Learning Commons (LTLC)

Faculty Professional Development Resources

Lehman College offers a rich and diverse array of professional development activities for faculty within and across schools and disciplines. Bringing together information and conversations about these activities forms part of the mission of the Lehman Teaching & Learning Commons (LTLC).

The Teaching & Learning Commons office hosts a faculty development lending library: faculty and staff may borrow books and journals or just come in to browse. Find our catalog on LibraryThing.

On the CUNY Academic Commons, the Lehman Teaching & Learning Commons group is an interactive space designed to support faculty professional development activities. Descriptions, dates, times, locations, and links are provided for ongoing professional development events across Lehman. Interested faculty and staff may find workshops, download/upload documents and resources, blog and comment about professional development activities, and follow links to opportunities across CUNY and higher education.

The Centers for Teaching & Learning (CTL's) website connects CUNY's Centers for Teaching & Learning and provides access and information for faculty development across the university.

CUNY's Undergraduate Studies website offers university-wide connections for Centers for Teaching & Learning, Writing Across the CurriculumQuantitative Reasoning, and assessment projects.
