New Faculty Orientation Seminars The purpose of t hese six seminars is to extend the full-day orientation p rogram in August and supplement the ongoing guidance you are receiving from your department and school. From 3:30-5:00 pm each Monday and Wednesday, Lehman College schedules “University Hours.” This is time set aside for department meetings, faculty senate meetings, and general faculty meetings. Sometimes classes are scheduled during this period but the expectation is that most faculty m embers will be available to gather for meetings and events, including faculty development opportunities. The New Faculty Orientation Seminars are held on Monday’s or Wednesday from 3:30-5:00 pm, three times each semester. We hope you will attend, and arrive eager to learn more about Lehman, its policies, and best practices. Please use this opportunity to ask questions a nd share y our e xperiences.
