Dr. Judith Zubieta García coordinates the Online and Distance Education Program for Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), Mexico’s top university. She is also President of the Board of the Council on Distance Education (ECOESAD) and Vice-president of the Mathematics Society of Mexico. She has a distinguished career promoting women in technology and the sciences. She received her PhD from the University of Pennsylvania in Systems Sciences and a Master’s Degree in Urban and Policy Sciences from SUNY Stony Brook. She has authored numerous publications and made many contributions to the study of Science, Technology and Gender.
