DACA Renewal Fund Support DACA Renewal Fund Support
As of June 30, 2016, there were 800,000 beneficiaries of DACA, including many CUNY students, staff, and members of our larger community. Those whose work permits expire between 9/5/17 and 3/5/18 will need to submit applications for renewal no later than October 5, 2017.

CUNY Policy for Final Grade Submission Deadlines
Beginning Fall 2017, City University of New York (CUNY) will implement a university-wide Final Grade Submission Deadline policy.
Institutional Review Board (IRB)
Our mission is to ensure that all research involving human participants meets the highest federal safety and ethics standards. To do this we invite you to look at the links on our website discussing federal regulations and the history of how these came to be. If you'd like, Zoltan Boka, the IRB admin, is available to provide IRB training to you and your students. Please note that IRB reviews take place via the IDEATE platform, which you can access with your portal information. Please allow up to two months to complete the IRB process, including revisions.
CFR Back-to-School Event on Globalization
Please consider attending the 8th Annual Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) Back-to-School Event on Friday, October 13, from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.
  • The 2017 Back-to-School Event will focus on globalization, featuring an introduction to CFR’s educational content and a panel discussion with CFR Senior Fellows Edward Alden, Miles Kahler, and Shannon K. O’Neil. A networking reception will follow the discussion, providing students with the opportunity to speak with department representatives and hear about CFR career and internship opportunities.

The Office of Research and Sponsored Programs will be hosting a PSC-CUNY workshop on Wednesday, November 15, from 3:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. in Carman Hall Multimedia Room B75.

CUNY is piloting a new program in Spring 2018 – the CUNY Mid-Career Faculty Fellowship Program. This new program aims to advance CUNY’s goal of retaining and advancing a diverse faculty.
2017-2018 CUNY Academy for Humanities and Sciences Awards
The CUNY Academy for the Humanities and Sciences is pleased to announce its 2017-18 award programs for full time Assistant and Associate Professors at all CUNY colleges, schools, and centers.
The Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs is the College's chief academic officer and senior member of the Cabinet. The Provost is responsible for all educational programs, as well as for academic issues that relate to the faculty, including appointments, promotions, and evaluations. She also is responsible for preparing accreditation reviews, strategic planning, and the review of division and departmental budgets. Questions?
