A Message from Lehman College President Daniel Lemons

This is a reminder that today we began our spring term reboot in our ongoing effort to limit the spread of COVID-19:

  • No spring 2020 courses will run from today until March 18, except for fully online programs and courses which will continue without interruption during this transition period until the end of spring term.
  • From today until March 19, students and faculty members will be ramping up to full distance-learning and instruction mode.
  • On campus events and special gatherings are cancelled or postponed until further notice.
  • Starting on Thursday, March 19, all instruction will resume in distance-learning mode, and will remain so through the end of the spring semester.
  • Lehman College will remain open from today through the entire spring semester. This will include our residence, library, research facilities, childcare center, computer laboratories, speech and hearing clinic, APEX and other venues that support our students.
  • We will continue our regular COVID-19 planning meetings to assess progress and address issues as they arise. For any questions you have about actions we’re taking at this time and other COVID-19 matters, please contact covid19.taskforce@lehman.cuny.edu. Have a good day and stay safe and healthy!

    Sincerely,

    Daniel Lemons
