A Message from Lehman College President José Luis Cruz
Middle States Commission on Higher Education Town Hall Oct. 24

Dear Colleagues,

Last week, I announced the launch of our webpage dedicated to our application for reaccreditation by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE). I invited all members of the College community to visit the page and read our draft Self-Study report, which is required for reaccreditation, and submit comments if they wish to do so.

In addition, as part of the reaccreditation process, we are holding a town-hall meeting to discuss and receive comments about the report. It will take place on Wednesday, October 24, from 3 to 5 p.m. in the East Dining Room. All members of the campus community are welcome.

The MSCHE self-study process and review are vital to Lehman College fulfilling its mission. They also provide an important opportunity for members of the campus community to come together to consider Lehman College’s future. I urge you to read and ponder the self-study report and hope that you will be able to join us at the town-hall meeting to listen and to offer your comments about the self-study report. People who wish to do so may speak for up to three minutes and may also submit written comments at the Town Hall. Please remember that you may also submit written comments at the Self-Study website.

I look forward to seeing many of you at the Town Hall.

All the best,

JL
@LehmanPresident
