Emphasis on current dietary patterns in the United States and other industrialized nations and the high incidence of degenerative diseases, such as arteriosclerosis, diabetes mellitus, diverticulosis, and cancer. PREREQ: BIO 181 and 182, or the equivalents of these courses.
