EDR 721: Assessing and Evaluating Language and Literacy Development in Early Childhood Education.
3 hours, 3 credits. Assessing, evaluating, and facilitating language and literacy development among young children of varying developmental abilities and from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds. Supervised use of informal, alternative, portfolio, and/or formal evaluation strategies. Case studies done under supervision. PREREQ: EDR 701 and EDR 711, or permission of the coordinator.
