Being a Lehman College student has allowed me to grow into a better scholar and leader. First, becoming a Peer Educator for the Student Disability Services Office exposed me to leadership training, campus outreach activities, and community service events. Next, partaking in the Herbert H. Lehman Center for Student Leadership Development Program gave me the opportunity to build leadership skills and a relationship with a mentor. When I was invited to become a Golden Key International Honor Society Member, I felt that my resilience and endurance was being recognized and rewarded. Working hard to achieve my academic excellence gave me a reason to be the very best version of myself.
An invitation from Golden Key means that you have been acknowledged as the top fifteen percent of your graduating class. As a Golden Key member you have access to scholarships, internships, and a beneficial network of opportunities. Becoming a member of Golden Key has allowed me to become an active Lehman Community member. It presented opportunities to work with other students to partake in community service and prove myself in a leadership position. Now, as the president of the Lehman Chapter, I am collaborating with a team of officers, advisers, and students who help me realize everyday how amazing it is to be a part of this society. I hope you take the gratifying opportunity of becoming a Golden Key Member. It is an opportunity to become an active member of the Lehman College community. Please join the Lehman Chapter in continuing to make it possible for students to become conscious of their potential.
