Faculty Dr. Lalitha Samuel, Ph.D.
Dr. Lalitha Samuel is an assistant professor in the Department of Health Sciences’ Dietetics, Foods, and Nutrition program. She graduated with a doctorate in food science from G.B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, India. She joined Lehman College in 2008 and teaches DFN 120: Introduction to Food Science and DFN: 620 Life Cycle Nutrition. Her research interests include measurement of quality indices in conventional foods and dietetic foods.
