CIHE will be screening Sin País on August 9th at Macaulay Honors College 35 West 67st from 5:30pm to 7:00pm
Ever considered how immigration affects a family? Or the detrimental effects of deportation? Sin País tells the story of the family's separation at the hands of the U.S. immigration system when they are deported back to Guatemala. Sin País explores the complexities of the new reality through stunning imagery, candid dialogue and intimate access.
Please join the CUNY Institute for Health Equity as we take part in a nationwide premiere party in which the film Sin País will be screened followed by a discussion of the documentary. We look forward to seeing you there!
The event will take place on Thursday, August 9th between 5:30 and 7pm at Macaulay Honors College Screening Room 35 W. 67 Street. Light refreshments will be served. If interested, please RSVP with your name and number of people you are bringing as soon as possible to firstname.lastname@example.org
