DRESS FOR SUCCESS - BUILDING A PROFESSIONAL IMAGE
This workshop offers you sound advice and simple steps you can take to immediately transform your professional image on any budget. Understand the difference between appropriate and inappropriate attire, and how having a professional appearance can boost your chance for workplace success.

An elevator pitch (or elevator speech) is a short summary used to quickly and simply define you and your promise
of value to an organization/professional. Come prepared to write your own elevator pitch and role-play with peers
and professionals.

STEPS TO PREPARING FOR THE INTERVIEW - Series 1
Develop an understanding of the interview process,
the importance of professional attire, and follow-up guidelines.

ACE YOUR NEXT INTERVIEW: LEARN HOW TO ANSWER TRADITIONAL AND BEHAVIORAL QUESTIONS - Series 2
This is an interactive workshop. You will become familiar with typical interview questions that employers may use in an interview, strategies for responding, and an opportunity to practice.

MOCK INTERVIEW CLINIC - Series 3
Prerequisite: Steps to Preparing for the Interview AND Ace Your Next Interview.
In this practice session you will be interviewed by a professional to help you develop your communication, interpersonal skills, and confidence in an interview.

Develop practical skills and learn how to write an effective professional resume that will help you stand out during your job search.

THE COVER LETTER – WHY DO YOU NEED ONE?

This is an interactive workshop in which you will have the opportunity to outline your targeted cover letter. This workshop will furnish you with the knowledge and skills required to craft an effective cover letter which highlights your qualifications for that position. You are required to bring a job description of a position for which you are interested in applying.
