- Academic Interests: I am an applied social psychologist whose research interests focus broadly on attribution theory and survey methodology. I have investigated attributional style, particularly as it applies to help seeking, coping, and observer responses to victims in a variety of laboratory and field settings. My current research aims at developing an understanding of the lay public's attributional beliefs about responsibility for causing and solving medical and mental health problems.
