Welcome

From the Program Coordinator, Limor Pinhasi-Vittorio

The Graduate Program in Literacy Studies is targeted towards teachers who want to be better prepared to work with all children on their reading and writing skills. The literacy graduate program prepares students to work as literacy specialists who may want to become literacy coaches/leaders, reading teachers, community educators, curriculum specialists, and school administrators. Some graduates may also enter doctoral programs.

We invite teachers to join us in our commitment to the creation of rich learning environments that support and encourage social justice for all learners and their diverse communities. Program candidates will develop the capacity to serve all learning styles, to engage with current research, methodology and theoretical advancements.
