From the Chair
Our graduates pursue professional careers in a wide variety of clinical and educational settings in which they provide services to individuals across the lifespan who present with a wide range of speech, language and hearing disorders.
The Department seeks to instill in students, the ability to think analytically, the understanding and use of emerging technology as it relates to the professions of speech-language pathology, and the importance of lifelong learning. We are privileged to provide academic opportunities to non-traditional and minority students and offer diagnostic and therapeutic services to children and adults residing in the Bronx and in neighboring communities.
