Deirdre O'Boy is Lecturer and Assistant Chair of the Department of English, as well as Director of the CUNY Institute for Irish-American Studies. She recently completed a second M.A. in Irish & Irish American Studies at New York University. Her current research is on globalization and migration in contemporary Irish literature. O'Boy teaches literature and composition courses for the English Department.
